More Information On This Vendor
SideLine Farms is a 206 acre family-owned and operated cow-calf and beef operation. The farm began in 1858 as a beef cattle farm. They transitioned to a dairy from the 1940s to 1990s, then transitioned back to beef. The current operators are the 6th generation, and the daughters are heavily involved in FFA and livestock showing. In addition to being a Tennessee Century Farm, SideLine is UT Extension Advanced Master Beef Producer certified and a member of the Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association.
The beef are grass-fed and grain-finished for the last 60-90 days before slaughter. They raise Limousin, Angus, and Limousin-Angus cross cattle. Guernsey cattle are also bred on the farm, and when the calves are born, they are moved to another family members’ dairy farm.
